The Matthew Flinders Theatre seats 399 patrons making it an ideal venue for musicals, drama performances, dance eisteddfods and competitions, cinema screenings, graduations, gala events, human circuses, orchestral, jazz, ethnic and modern musical performances.

The Theatre’s raked seating means every seat in the house is a good seat. This feature combined with ample leg room and state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment guarantees patrons a night to remember.

Within the complex are 5 multi-use, modern meeting rooms. These areas cater perfectly for smaller events, workshops and functions. The Amity Room, in particular, is a popular space amongst hirers because of its fully functional commercial kitchen and large covered outside courtyard including barbecuing facilities.
