The Redcliffe Cultural Centre has 5 meeting rooms available for hire. Each of these creative spaces is within easy access to kitchen and toilet facilities. All meeting rooms are located near car parking facilities and they are well lit at night for added peace of mind. The meeting rooms located within the complex include: The Onoda Room (including a small courtyard area)

The Onoda Room takes its name from
Redcliffe’s Sister City in Japan. This room is regularly used by
community and commercial organisations for meetings of up to 60 people
based on theatre style seating. This space also includes an adjoining,
semi enclosed out-door area which is great for socialising or as a
break-away area when workshops are being held.

The Winton room takes its name from
Redcliffe’s outback Sister City. This carpeted room caters for up
to 60 people based on theatre style seating.

This room takes its name from the late Kathleen Shillam, a well known, accomplished visual artist residing in Redcliffe.This space can comfortably accommodate 100 people based on theatre style seating. Its vinyl floor, large open space and kitchen facilities makes it attractive to a wide variety of arts groups, particularly those organising all day workshops.

This room takes its name from the
founder of the Redcliffe Peninsula Lapidary Club the former permanent
tenant of the room. This space is specifically designed for art and
craft workshops; it is also often hired on a semi-permanent basis for
educational or cultural programs and courses. Enquire about our
computer facilities. The Centre has access to 14 internet connected
computers which are available for hire if required.

This room is named after the first
ship to land on Redcliffe’s shores. Due to Redcliffe’s
location on Moreton Bay, it was selected as the spot for
Queensland’s first northern penal settlement. The Brig Amity
anchored at Redcliffe on September 13, 1824 carrying settlement
commandant Lieutenant Miller, explorer John Oxley, crew and convicts.

The Amity Room is the Cultural Centre’s most popular meeting place. This air- conditioned space opens out into a semi enclosed sheltered courtyard with chairs and tables and a wonderful “garden like” atmosphere. The room can accommodate up to 120 patrons comfortably (ie. 60 in the Amity Room based on theatre style seating and 60 in the courtyard).
Commercial kitchen facilities adjoin the Amity Room making it an ideal venue for large receptions or theatre restaurants.
Disabled access; air-conditioned, carpeted room; semi-enclosed, sheltered courtyard; barbeque facilities, removable seats and tables; commercial Kitchen with gas oven & stove, deep fryer, glass washer, cups, saucers and glasses; fridge/freezer; tea and coffee making facilities; service counter, gallery hanging system; male and female toilets (accessed via lower foyer); in-house public address system; audio visual equipment upon request (Charges may apply); alternative entrances (via main doors and courtyard).
